Thermal blinds

I bought a full set of thermal blinds years ago but have only used them in the warmer months to reflect the heat and not to retain it as well as providing a bit of privacy.  Is it worth using these in the colder months but reversing them so that the reflective shielding is on the inside, bit of a pain as the sucker attachments need to be re applied.  Do they work when reversed or is it just worth just leaving them as they are with the shiny bit facing outward as normal.

I would leave as they are.    I use mine permanently to stop the UV bleaching of interior fabrics.

I have used them shiny side out in the cold and they worked well.
It was 15°C inside while outside was -5°C

I was thinking this this morning. As the winter is coming in we always had the Foil side facing out.

Hopefully that's the correct way for keeping heat in in the winter?

Thanks, I think consensus is that best left with foil facing outward.
