Advice on headlining

Hi all. I started stripping out my camper today ready for her respray and started removing the headlining. It’s the original stuff, white and perforated. Any ideas of the best place to get replacement material or suggestions as to what to use - the original has discoloured somewhat where the glue has seeped through and don’t want the same to happen again.

Also, above the cab it seems to disappear behind the windscreen seal.

The windscreen will be taken out for the respray - do I need to fit the new headlining at the front before it goes back in? Might be a bit of a logistical nightmare to do this. Ta.

Pretty sure there’s a seller on eBay who does the head lining , cab piece and the rear section Pretty costly I think

I removed mine cause it was grubby like yours , I was thinking of carpeting the outer sections then fitting some fabric on 3mm ply in place of the head liner

What have others done as an alternative to the original head liner ?

Yes, you need to fit the headlining before the screen goes back in.

Bugger! Thought as much.

JK do the perforated vinyl but it's £200+   Think it may be for whole roof though. Can get the cab piece for £65 on Ebay and the back piece can be bought by the roll from a separate seller for not too much.

Also interested if anyone else has done/used anything different.

Much better do in it one piece , but all the windows need to come out to do it properly

You can buy it off ebay just off the roll.
I re made the front section using the original rods, just used the old one as a template and had some instruction from the wife on how to use her sewing machine.
If I remember correctly the material is not that expensive.
Look here for all manner of car trim stuff.
