SGS engineering will put together any replacement, based on your measurements. I think that's where most people go for any bespoke gas struts.

Ta,the top stays up ok but it's a bugger to lift up( I have to use my head?!)

yes SGS, we got 4 struts for our side lifting Leisuredrive about 3 years ago. I recall it took a couple of goes to get them with the right end fittings. Make sure you've got a strap of some sort to compress them about an inch while fitting

Ta,I'm going to remove the ( near ) vertical struts first ( holding the top open with an acr prop!) then replace the ( near) horizontal struts etc.
