Water tank salvageable?

Post by DM164 »

My Holdsworth Villa 2 used to have a plumbed in water tank with a foot switch but at some point it was all cut out and disconnected. The empty water tanks is still mounted under the van.

Has anyone had experience fitting water from scratch and would care to point me in the right direction for setting it back up?

I imagine the tank might be salvageable given enough sanitising

Evening
It’s just basic plumbing , once you have really cleaned the tank out well , using hot soapy water a couple of times, then a weak bleach solution , rinsing between and after with lots of clean hot water , you will need a pump , either a submerged pump in the tank or a primable external one , with a switch which switches the Neg power to the pump and finally once you have it all plumbed back up treating the whole system with Puriclean As per its instructions .

Depending on how long it takes you to get the tank clean it isn’t a long job
