I think it's 9.6 litres (80% of displacment capacity), you'd best check this out though.

Regards, Max.

I don't know about others but it lasts me about two to three weeks. Fridge 24/7 and cooking most evenings.

assuming it's 200mm diameter looks like about 800mm long which would make it more like 20 litres

I've read all sorts of conflicting figures, 18litres, 3gallons and 10 litres. Either way for me it's 2-3 weeks off grid. Would be interesting to know how long other Westy owners get from theirs.

don't suppose next time it's convenient you could measure diameter and length? That will be fairly conclusive.

I filled mine from dry when I fitted it , until the pump cut off and it took 14l
There are at least two different sizes tho, I think mine is the bigger one , I can measure it maybe tomorrow if I remember

Mine uses approx 6lts a week when I’m camping full time , running fridge 24/7 and cooking at least two meals a day plus brewing up and boiling kettle for washing up ect .

I think Moki is right about there being more than one size of tank. I took my figure of 9.6 ltr from Camp Westfalia. It says one can get 3 - 4 weeks use. I used to get 3 weeks but since I ran a strand of copper wire through the fridge gas jet the gas consumption has increased. I've got a new jet it's just a case of fitting it.

Weather permitting I'll measure the tank tomorrow and compare it to Moki's.

The pump will fill it to 80% of capacity, which according to the Joker manual (courtesy of wesfaliat3.info) is approx 18 litres of DIN 51621 propane gas (LPG).

As near as damn is I get the same as Moki.

That's a natty contents graph in that manual. I'll be 'lifting' that!

Wonderful, thanks.

Going to buy a tank and Tinley tech are offering a kit for the T3 but it's too small IMO at 16l, so I'm going to get a bigger one.

They are being advertised as 20-30 litres (200 mm) depending on length and whether you mean capacity or usable capacity

Been looking at the same Tinley Tech or Autogas 2000 tanks to possibly replace the old Westy one, the larger tank gets very close to the Eberspacher exhaust, so may have to go for the smaller one.
Saw some threads from a couple of years back where brackets were made to fasten to the original Westy ones, looked like a good solution.
Any more info to save re-inventing the wheel etc ?
