Now the bairns have flown, more or less, and we are only two again [LOVERLY!] we don't really need the Autohomes pop top T25
Thinking of a Clubman GL non-leak, hot water, heater, toilet, shower, whb, oven...........I could go on and drool.
What do folk think about these [yes, I am an old phart] -- maybe with the 2.4 diesel lump?

If you do Facebook, have a look at the Autosleeper Classic Motorhome group, it's pretty good for info.

I want to find out what long-standing T25 owners [like me] might think about a Clubman type camper -- I've perused the T4 fora
I may get deep and sensible replies on here.

I've gone straight to a Biturbo 200hp T6 with all that, only two beds, high top. Space is tight for me and the dog with less storage space, less space to move around and it is a LWB, but then I configured it that way.
I would hire/see a couple of configurations first if I were you to see if it really works for you.It isn't easy to fit all the refinements in the Transporter range. ( I wouldn't part with the T6 now though, it is a pleasure to drive and you don't feel as though you have gone 5 rounds with Frank Bruno after a long drive!)

Good point -- we're hiring a brand new 130hp this week for a flash trip down to Yorkshire, partly as a comparison.
So the driveway will have THREE campers on it on Wednesday!
cheers
