Interior worktop

Post by daddyjim »

Hi all

I am re making my interior in my camper and not sure what to use as a worktop.
I want it black but don't want to use regular kitchen work tops as they are too thick. Does anyone know where I can buy a work top from in black for my camper? What do you guys use?
Cheers in advance
James

Hi
You can get 25mm worktop, not sure where though. We use 12mm ply, topped with formica sheet stuck down, with the edges and undersides varnished. Use a chopping/ cutting board if going this route. Cheers john.

well they are not completely black but I am a fan the plywood stuff with phenol coating that is normally used for car trailers - extremely rugged and waterproof
