Do you have to have the awning fully out? Or can you roll it back in a bit when the legs are free?

You have to have it all of the way out, not sure why you would need to just have it out a fraction of the way at any time.

Here is a video of us using one last weekend for a better idea, http://campervanculture.com/2015/08/cvc ... ar-we-use/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I hope this helps,

We have spoke about doing a "Culture Camp" event once a year down here in Surrey and even have a venue in mind. Thought about employing a bush camping guy we met once for the day to show how to skin a rabbet and process wild caught meat and fish as well as some kind of foraging course etc. We could then all do a big communal cook up afterwards on a fire kind of thing and do a few walks with stop off's at a couple of nice country pubs in the area and a couple of activities on the itinerary to get kids involved so they don't get board.

One question on these arb awnings, how do the feet attach to the floor? Can never quite make it out in any on line video I've seen of them. Is it the same as the fiamma ones, in that it has a foot you put a peg through?

Hi lloydy, will take a pic for you later, the bottom of the leg has a small bar that digs into the ground and then there is an eyelet that the peg goes thru to make it more rigid.
Sorry not a very good explanation so will put some pics up later :ok

Picture would be great, as the good value of the add on stuff for these awnings makes the actual awning almost a must buy. The only downside i can see is the inability to fix the legs to the side of the van like i can with my existing Fiamma. Even that might be a moot thing if the feet are similar..

We bought the add on room with the sewn on floor and the first night it rained all the way thru and half of the next day and not a drop of water leaked in. In fact it rained that bad that I had to push a huge puddle of rain off the middle of the awning the next morning, which was my fault as I had not set the awning up properly with enough fall for the water.
Really good piece of kit and only takes minutes to put up and take down.
