Propex Kit

Post by randamonia »

Hi
Well finally after 35 years of coveting I finally have a camper :D

A nice and tidy Komet with LPG conversion which is perfect for our little family....with one exception, no heating!! My better half specifically specified heating...doh!!

I've decided on a Propex unit but where is the best place to order? I see Just Kampers and VW heritage offer kits but can anyone advise which is the best of the two (or any others) to go for in order for a nice easy self install?

Thanks folks

The Propes HS (Heat Source) 2000 is a great bit of kit. They also do an HS200E which will also run on mains electric but is a tad more expensive. Just get it from wherever is cheapest at the time. It's fairly straightforward to fit, but suggest you get your installation 'approved' by a certified GasSafe engineer too. Better safe than sorry and all that, and your missus will give mucho points to you :ok
