Interior units

Post by R111RWD »

I am looking to buy an interior unit for my van. I have seen this one on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141260448745" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Has anyone bought one of these before and do you know if they are any good? Does anyone know any other places you can buy them from? Not looking to spend loads on one about £400 max.

Thanks

Yes, that's the exact one I bought last year in Birch Ply. Very happy with it - though be warned it will not just slot in - you'll need to do a bit of jiggery pokery with the wardrobe end. I also added an extra few bits of timber here and there to make a gas bottle cupboard.

There are worse ones (MDF, chipboard) which I wouldn't touch and better ones that just cost too much for me. It's a great kit if you can use a saw, sander and can varnish.

If you want photos of our installed units please PM me with your email address and I'll happily send over.

I've been speaking to Jake from Tranzwagon. They do a classic version for the T25. Cost is circa £580 without the smev sink/hob unit.
