..... Or perhaps someone you know ....

I saw and spoke to the owner of this lovely looking camper (pics below, albeit not really of the camper) of which I took some photos of their amazing surf board transport solution.

Unfortunately I didn't take or ask about any measurements (d'oh) and now that I'm in the process of fabricating (or having a friend fabricate) these from the brackets recommended, I could use some figures as a guide for what works.

If this is you, could you please be so kind as to let me know some basic measurements for the piece of metal welded to the brackets, or if you happen to know this person could you please pass on the details etc.

Any information would be great, even if you have something similar.

I'm not convinced that is a good solution. Iif you look carefully at the photos you can see that the gutters appear to have warped. With a heavy load and or large surface area you could end up with a damaged van and boards
