Which Rock and Roll bed?
Will be needing one soon for our Syncro. I like the idea of having the rear section built up over the engine bay to allow storage draws and extra insulation etc.
I want 3/4 and would like seat belts for occasional passenger (and dog harness)
I don't know the differences in the various types but I do like the ones which provide a big static storage space and that there are no front legs to drag out accross the floor (like on my current van!)
I've tried the search function - honest. All it showed me was that I don't particularly want the hassle the Bluebird one seems to being with it.
cheers

Re: RnR Bed ?
Anyone ?
I've looked on Wiki, i've searched on here but haven't really found the info I am after.
I've found these on ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170914580153? ... 1423.l2648" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271048480835? ... 1423.l2648" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I'm sort of edging towards the second.
But then there's the mounting and making sure its safe (big plates etc)
What may seem pretty obvious to someone on here, probably isn't to me as its new territory.
Are there any pitfalls o raising the bed up to create a space for slim draws above the engine (head height on th eseat for example).
A point inthe right direction would be equally welcomed

Re: RnR Bed ?
Cheers Monster, thanks for the input.
The one in my T5 rattles a bit when its empty, but once stuff is loaded it stops being so noticable - but a non rattling one is always a good start

and it has a platform made up over the back of the engine bay.
Its a metal framed one and i can say i never hear a peep out of it

Re: RnR Bed ?
Cheers Baaaadslider, Good to hear its not a rattler once installed. I did get a bit put off by the info that came up regarding it being a faf to assemble and mount in the van.
I've stumbled on a Westy full width. I was hoping for 3/4 but hey ho budgeters cant be choosers

Re: RnR Bed ?
What was the hassle you mentioned for a Bluebird?
Just that the two you've linked in ebay are are of the same similar design, you need to spend a bit time ensuring that the brackets are in the correct place before drilling
