Got Van need Interior Sorting

Post by fourcandles »

Hello All,

Been on here for a while now, asked lots of questions about buying a van and kind of ignored some of it and bought a 1980 Devon Pop Top.

Been driving van for a couple of weeks and it seems sound but interior is shabby and not chic.

Just wondered if anyone could recommend a company in west yorks area to re fit kitchen and add Electric Hook up and Propex Heater.

Ta.

Have a look at GT campers in Batley. They advertise T4 and T5 conversions but I am sure they use to do T3s as well.

Thanks Mark just spoken to GT Campers and going to pop in Wednesday, hoping to get a Propex fitted and some work done on the Electrics i.e Hook up and Leisure Battery as my Van hasn't got either.

They've recommend a Sargent system anyone got any advice on best systems.

Anyway been waffling on here for a while so thought it put the first piccy of the van up.

I have a propex and have had nothing but trouble with it,if your van was diesel i would of recommended a wabasto heater not sure if they do a petrol version.
when our propex gave up the ghost for the second time we bought good sleeping bags and in the morning we lit the two gas rings "hey presto van nice and warm in 5 minutes" much cheaper than a propex :rofl

Thanks Fella, thats what they said as well complete waste of money much better spending it on good sleeping bags and a fan heater.

So ive spent the money on new shinny bits instead happy days.
