Well must have put 100 miles on the clock since the MOT a few years back. Tank is now out along with engine. What are my options for replacing the sound deadening ? Will be staying diesel . TBSh the foam is still in ok nick. Wire frames not so much

Ditched mine completely, less change of crud and damp being held against body - mine was toast anyway.
 
I've got sound damping on panel under rear seat and rubber mat, I don't notie any increase of noise due to the lack of the bit above the tank.

My DJ had none when I took tank out, and I didn't put any in when the AGG went in.
Is it an oilburner thing?
