Probably the mounting bracket holes for a Scandi night engine heater.

Hi
So, the two holes under the n/s/r light cluster was the standard fixing point where the winter night heater 240v feed connected to the truck by means of an L shaped bracket holding a plug. You simply ran out a power lead and plugged your van into your extension lead.
The two on the o/s/r were some little "pooh", prized off the transporter badge. . . . or were they bonded on?? can’t remember now.
The night heater kit is basically a kettle-like element that fits into one of the core plugs on the under side of the block and keeps the engine warm for the ease of starting in extreme conditions.
When I took the plug and bracket off of the back the truck the element had been removed. No doubt it had been removed years before.
