Upper wishbone nut

Post by burnzdog »

Hi all,

I need to get to the upper wishbone nut but I can't get the torque wrench in there. Can I loosen the brake hose clamp without issue?

easier with decent length ring spanner for the nut and torque wrench on the allen head end, single 14mm 1/2" hex tools are cheap enough, for very occasional use you don't need to buy snap-on, and makes undoing rusted ones a lot easier

I'd be more worried about the stack of spacers sat OUTSIDE the wishbone :O

Why is that a problem? And why would they be used?

Ok, well to put it another way: I can't see the eccentric camber washer between the wishbone and the chassis. Looks like a big gap to me.

As they said use a ring spanner and lots of penetrating oil you will break your torque wrench trying to undo rusted on nuts
