LEISURE BATTERY,

HI
when wireing a lesiure battery,can it be wired away from the normal battery?
as my van battery under seat,want to fit lesiure in back ,either under r/r bed,or under rear cabinet where theirs more room?

Steve , do a search for split charger

basically its a relay that when the engine is running charges the main battery and the leisure one

Yes Steve you can fit it where you like. There are now some electronic devices that sense the change coming into the main battery and put the rest into the Leisure.

Not heard good reports about theses "charge sensing" relays, but it`s just hear-say, sure someone on here will have used one.
