Hey all,
Have replaced my blower motor & resistor and putting it all back together. But now I'm at the plug and I'm not sure which wire goes into which part of the plug.
there are 4 wires:
- Yellow
- Yellow & Black
- White
- Red & Black
And the plug has numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 on it.
Does anyone know which colours go into which number?
Thanks!

It should be pins -
1 - White
2 - Yellow / Black
3 - Yellow
+ - Black / Red (There should not be a pin 4).
And for the panel illumination.
31 - Brown
58b - Grey / Blue.

Thanks both! much appreciated.
Tried those this morning and still nothing, so I wonder if I've wired the blower motor/resistor wrong
There is power coming from the black/red.

Re: Blower Motor Plug Numbers?
Did you connect the thick brown wire to ground from the motor itself?
UPDATE: -
So you need to check the wiring from the motor itself to the resistor pack.
Two yellows to the + side of the motor.
One yellow direct from switch position three, and the other from the resistor pack.
And fat brown from the - side of the motor to a good ground connection on the body or the earth crown on the a pillar / inner wing under the left side of the dash.

Re: Blower Motor Plug Numbers?
All sorted in the end!
Turned out to be an old rusty earth connection. Once I had tidied it up it sprung into life.
Thanks again!

Excellent news - Glad it is sorted.
Rusty, dirty or loose earth connections probably cause 90% of electrical issues on these older vehicles.
