New headlights smoked? Brickwerks

Post by Jonnyb416 »

Hi all,

I’m slightly confused as Brickwerks have the H4 headlights available in a set but you can’t order them individually. I’d order the set but some items are out of stock.

The only round headlights available are LHD. I fancied the smoked ones and they are LHD, too.
Would this be a massive problem?

JK have them but only including the buckets and I don’t need them.

Don’t remember it being this hard last time I ordered headlights!

Any advice appreciated.

Cheers, Jon.

VW always supplied the headlamps with the mounting frame. Heritage have RHD headlamps. But like a lot of things, there does seem to be a shortage.
LHD headlamps would need to be masked off, losing the kick up to the kerb side.

As confirmed by Big Herb, there’s a delay in headlights arriving in the UK at the moment as had to wait 3 weeks for some to arrive for my Beetle (& that was the same across the board for about 6 suppliers).

Might be worth dropping them an email to see if they have an indication as to when they’ll be back in stock.

Cheers guys.

I’ve found the correct headlights that was part of a set on Brickwerks so managed to order those. Didn’t get smoked but hey ho, I’m not that fussed.

Thanks again, Jon.
