temp gauge
the van like many others has not been off the road for awhile the temp gauge always just to left of the red light now after a 25 mile drive its inbetween cold and light also my petrol gauge which i seldom use because i run on lpg now says empty when i know i have £20 of gold in there is this a warning of things wrong in the dash

Have a look at your earth points and the 14pin connector to the dash binnacle , if it’s been stood and got damp inside, you may well have corrosion to clean off

If you have a multimeter then measure the voltage across one of the outer nuts and the centre nut that secure the temperature Gauge, should be around 10v . The temp gauge centre nut is chassis earth. A lower reading could indicate a problem with the regulator, the regulator socket, etc.
