Fridge relay

Post by Cookie »

Hi all, basic couple of questions if anyone can help;

When the headlights are on should the led on the instrument cluster illuminate? Mine only lights up when I have full beam on.

Secondly, I was under the impression the fridge relay should only kick in when the engine is running? Is this correct because mine appears to work when just the battery is connected.

Cheers all

The tell tale for the headlights in only for main beam .

For a three way fridge the fridge should be wired to the main battery via a alternator triggered relay , the fridge should only work on 12v cooling when the engine is running .

some early conversions just had a ignition switched trigger allowing the fridge to work when the ignition lights were on but the engine not running .... this was the cause of many flat batteries and starting issues .
