Just for info.

The early fuse box (upto 1985) is as follows:-

1 - left side and tail lights. (8 amps)

2 - right side and tail lights. (8 amps)
Rear number plate lights and fog lamps.

3 - left dipped head lamps (8 amps)

4 - right dipped head lamps (8 amps)

5 - left main beam lamp and dash warning lamp. (8 amps)

6 - right main beam (8 amps)

7 - radiator fan (8 amps)

8 - interior lights, brake lights, cig lighter (8 amps)

9 - hazard flasher and radio (16 amps)

10 - front wash / wipe and heater blower (16 amps)

11 - direction indicators. (8 amps)

12 - horn (8 amps)

Additional fuses to right of fuse box.

Heated rear window (8 amps)
Rear fog lights (8 amps)
Auxilliary heater (16 amps)
Auxilliary heater overheat protection (8 amps)

Additional fuse in the engine bay

Reversing lights (8 amps)

These are all on the inner wing of the van above the fusebox.

When everything is going well, chances are you will be busy enjoying driving the van... and not think to bother to keep an eye on the state of the electrics.

I suppose the flip-side to that would be...
If it ain't broke, leave it alone.

That would probably depend upon your level of knowledge and confidence, I guess.
I did both earth crowns and connectors, but didn’t think about the relays. Will have a look at this. Thanks.
