Hi all,
A daft question, but probably asked by many people who are wishing to modify, change or even repair their instrument cluster.
I have seen people make up PCB edge connectors to suit the 14 pin cluster socket.
Does anyone know of a supplier for just the "gold finger" connector without all the added circuit board for attaching diodes, resistors and led's?.
I know of work done by CJH, and Slaughterhouse etc.
but these are for a full kit rather than just an adapter / rigid connector.
The reason being that I plan to fit a totally different cluster, but do not want to be hacking my van's original cluster plug off.
I would prefer to be able to revert it to the standard van cluster if the alternative cluster fails or becomes problematic.
Any thoughts or recommendations?

Re: Pcb connector to fit the instruments.
Many years ago, before such things were available from gowesty and alike I needed to address this to fit a later instrument panel in my early van , I took the original connector and removed the pin contacts and soldered the tails from a late connector on in piggy back so I had the option of both . Easy enough with a pin extractor .
no help to you here I know , but just reminded me ......
maybe speak to syncroAndy at syncro sport , I’ll bet he knows what and where to buy what you need ....

Re: Pcb connector to fit the instruments.
I suppose, that I could make up a Veroboard adapter.
Or make up and etch my own.
But I do like the look of the "professionally" made pcb's.
Thanks for the Syncro Sport comment.
I never thought of that...

I make them for my PCB's as shown below or I can make you one that you can fit screw terminal connector blocks.

Re: Pcb connector to fit the instruments.
Great, that would be fantastic.
I just checked whether Vero-board would work, but the strips are too close together.
Vero-board strip pitch is approx 2.4mm
The dash connector looks like 3.75mm pitch.
Pm sent.

Re: Pcb connector to fit the instruments.
I would thoroughly recommend any AngeloEvs upgrade. He fixed my dashpod three years ago. Still working perfectly.

Re: Pcb connector to fit the instruments.
Indeed...
I have been in touch.
I plan to get a couple of connectors at the end of the month.
An excellent price too.
Why two??
One for my MG Maestro digital dash...
And a spare in case I mess up, or wish to re-work the original cluster.
