Eberspacher pump not clicking

Post by saviogimmi »

Hi all out this prob on the camper board but thought I’d try my luck here! D2L eber, will not start up. I have changed thermostat controller, Ecu and pump! When I turn it on I get an initial click on the pump then it does nothing. Taking a voltage measurement it is constant 12v no pulse like it is meant to. The pump gets hot as it’s constant powered. I can see the at the wiring is green and green/white. One runs to the controller the other to the ecu. So I’m assuming the ecu controls the voltage on off sequence. I have continuity on all wiring. What am I missing been on this 2 days now! Removed the entire heater and wiring now testing on bench! I can get it running if I gravity feed fuel directly,I ran it like this for a good 10 minutes. So I know it works! Any help on what’s going on would be appreciated!

Doesn’t the green white run direct from the heater ?

It just runs through it, straight in the duct and out the side not actually connect in there at all

Am I right in thinking the pump signal won’t happen until the startup checks are completed? Maybe it’s not getting through them so it stops before pump comes on?

Nope scrub above! Got it past that as fan speed rises and normally the pump would start ticking, but it’s still not!
