Hi peeps is there a plan for what the cables are in my 89 2.1 T25. The 4th from right is empty and next to it has a damaged cable and pins ??

Cheers sure my high-pressure one is corroded and giving off intermittent false reading's

I am sure, that if the higher threshold low oil-pressure warning is giving issues, then it is probably one of three things.

(Assuming that the engine is mechanically sound)

Most likely, is a faulty pressure sender, or it's connector, which is in a vulnerable location under the engine)

Next is the foil circuit board, if it has been accessed a few times.

Then next most likely is the buzzer of doom.

From here, the connector and it's pins look quite clean and free from corrosion or damage.
You are interested in the yellow wire, which looks fine from here.

Other than the battery live red wire for a digital clock on pin 5...
This looks like someone has used a scotch-lok to supply 12 volts to an aftermarket accessory.

Re. the OP's query and pictured plug. The wiring diagrams are here: http://syncrosport.com/info/wiring/.

The pinout differs completely pre-85 and post-85, diesel vans use the glow-plug indicator wire at T14/14, wheras petrol vans do not (except in the US where its used for the 'OXS@ lamp).

The red wire (battery +) is used only for the digital LCD clock, if present, and nothing else, AFAIK.

The pins can easily be removed for checking, cleaning or replacement, by popping open the locking cover on one side of the plug using a small screwdriver.
