FM signal through DAB aerial

I wouldnt mind getting rid of my ill fitting FM aerial - can you receive an FM signal through a DAB car aerial? no idea on this subject!

Short answer is no
Radio needs the correct length of antenna for the frequency it is working on , which is much more important for transmitting than receiving but all the same crucial

The lower the frequency the longer the antenna

So DAB is vhf , and needs a antenna only a few centimetres long in electrical length

FM broadcast radio is HF and so needs a much longer antenna , 80cm infact

However I’m sure I have seen antennas that are dual band ( one antenna split in two electrically rather than physically) but you will be looking at more money and it’s compromise...
