Decided I would fit a pair of daytime running lamps to the underside of the front bumper. I have wired them into an ignition controlled power supply with a separate switch.
I don't know where I am, but I'm having a lovely time!

Yep I like the look of that , as long as they are pointed down and not blinding all road users , and of coarse not switched on when the headlights are .( simple 5pin relay job)

Got similar but mine are in the holes in the lower valance.

Yep, like. I've keep looking every so often for DRLs to fit where Rob has his. Any recommendations for a quality set that wont break the bank?

I had some cheap Chinese ones they gave up the ghost pretty quick. The one's I have now are made by a company called Ring they have been on several years. Can't remember what I paid though.

Found these, very similar to mine. Their dimensions are on the ad so you can check if they fit the hole.

Thanks Rob, confirmed my suspicions that cheap may well be false economy. The Ring ones seem reasonable and a named brand, I also looked at some Philips DRLs, look quality but 3 times the price.
