Condensation on leisure battery?

Post by slowcoach »

Has anyone had this before? I've new Lucas leisure batteries running with a solar setup I've had for approx 8 years.

Just noticed yesterday for the first time that the sides are damp with water condensation. They're under the bench seat, and always have been. No other moisture anywhere. Any thoughts?? Something to do with the shock of having lovely sunny days!?

Exactly the same post on the T6 forum last week, not unusual given the right climatic conditions.
