Reversing light switch replacement

Post by MattC137 »

Hi there,

Mechanical dunce and T25 noob here. My reversing lights aren't working and it's not the bulbs. Having scanned this forum the reverse light switch seems the most likely culprit. I picked up a new one for a couple of quid and intend to crawl under and fit it myself at the weekend. I understand it located on the side of the gearbox.

Does anyone have a pic of the location I am after and any tips for how to not get it wrong?

Cheers,

get under from the near side ( curb side) and its just infront of the driveshaft , near the clutch slave brackety leg , its on a sticky outy bit .
as long as you are on the correct side of the gearbox, you cant miss it ...
be aware there are two different plug types , be rrady to have the wrong one!! its a 50/50 chance if you have never seen it when you ordered it
