Hi guys,
My engine temp needle isn’t moving. The engine runs normally and doesn’t overheat. Was working find this morning and then it just stopped at point (only significant event in my journey is that I hit a pretty big pothole).
I’m waiting for it to cool down so I don’t burn myself when trying to get to the sender. I’m going to test to see if it’s the switch by grounding out the wires but I’m fairly sure it isn’t as it was new last year!!! And the vehicle has only be used 6 months.
How can I test the gauge if the power and Earth are working to the sensor?
Just to add; fuel gauge works fine, engine coolant light works fine on start up (going to test it with the clip off of the sensor in the coolant tank also).
