Brake lights staying on again.

Post by horizontal kipper »

OK this is bugging me now. Changed both brake light switches on the master cylinder, brake lights still stay on when ignition is off. Now this is the bit i don't get. If i just connect one of the switches on the master cylinder up (don't matter which one) all works as it should, as soon as both are connected up the brake lights stay on. Have tried each plug connector on both switches, still works fine until both are connected. Switches ive got are the 3 pin ones Branded SKP 113 945 51 5G on the box. Am i missing something here.

Now sorted the SKP 3 pin brake light switches are wired the opposite way round!! pulling the wires out of the connector plug and switching them round marked 81 and 82a they work fine.
