B15 to GU10 Adaptors=are they safe
I've got a ceiling light that takes 6 B15. The LED equivalent are very pricey. I was thinking of getting adapters and using GU10s instead but wondered whether these adapters are safe

I've got some es to gu10 adaptors for the same reason, haven't given any problems.
The current will be low and the LEDs don't get hot so don't really see why they shouldn't be OK.

Never going to be as reliable as a direct fit replacement, very quick search turned up some lamps at about £7 each, too pricey? A decent gu10 to us is about £7.

Re: B15 to GU10 Adaptors=are they safe
Looking again, I think the GU10 will be too wide to fit which is also a problem with the led replacements which seem wider that the incandescant candles. Might have to rethink. Does anyone have a better idea?

Why use an adapter? Plenty here:

US site-as usual we have to pay a lot more than the Americans.
Can't really swap the fittings as it's a seventies chrome pendant light and the holders are integral

Errrrrrr.... Chinese site - just change to UK or whatever currency you want!
97 p for a bulb is expensive? Do you want them to pay you for it?
They have been around since the early days of leds and are usually very efficient and quick.

Bought some Chinese bulbs before, they didn't last and when I tried to remove them the bulb would split from the base which were a faff to remove. Legit dimmable candle bulbs cost-£45 for enough bulbs!. I'll get some more halogens for the time being
