Sink not working

Post by Ceirion »

Hello

I am very new to the T25 world but I love my new van. I have an issue with my sink. I have the T25 super viking and the water to the sink is controlloed with a door bell. I have filled the tank with water, pushed the button and apart from a small smell of burning plastic and then a blown 10 amp fuse nothing happened.

Any helpful suggestions would be amazing.

Kind Regards

Ceirion

Multimeter time. Check for chafed, damaged or bodged wiring, then check the pump itself's working.

I have pulled of the filter and water is coming out of the pump which is good. So hopefully with a good clean or replace filter could be working

I wouldn't have thought that the doorbell's contacts would be rated for anything above 1 Amp.

I have replaced the switch and works like a dream except the pump is cracked around the seal and that leaks. Does anyone if this can be fixed or can I buy a new one, will the modern pumps work on these?
