Instrument Ribbon Replacement?

Post by Smiffo »

I remember a few years ago the PCB replacement items were north of £300.
They seem to have a few different designs now, and this one is approx half price.

Anyone here installed one?

My clocks are temperamental, intermittently losing the lighting etc.

Chap on the forums did a kit a while back that was a fraction of the price but still well made. He seemed to fall off the world though.

AngeloEVS can do a VERY cost effective version.
He did one for me and it works perfectly.

Despite the low price, it is very well made.

1987 Electrics and a DJ engine.
Maybe one day I might get it finished

He will make up whatever set-up you need.

He will usually wish to talk with you to verify exactly what you need.

I am sure he will be along shortly. :)

i have the slaughterhouse custom one installed on mine and works fine and dash lights up bright at night!
is pretty straight forward to install too.
i cant compare what it was like before as the foil was too far gone when i got my van and nothing worked.

Yes, suitable for rev counter dash and digital clock versions.

Nice - how do I go about ordering one?
Is it on a website, or DM on here?

Also, mine was originally analogue clock, with no digital in the centre, but as it had never worked since I owned it, I replaced it with a rev counter.

Not sure if that matters or not?

either way, let me know how I make the next step if you are still doing them ( and have the time etc )  :ok
