JK Factory Window Seals

Post by bmakins »

I made the mistake of buying the JK window seals for factory fit windows, without the channel for chrome trim. Has anyone ever used these successfully? I spoke to JK and they suggested I'm doing it wrong - they've never had any issues before. I've tried various lubricants and sizes/types of cord, to no avail. I've since bought a vewib seal for the sliding door window and that went on very easily, so I'm not convinced that it's my technique causing issues.

Has anyone else used these seals? Did you succeed?
