Having been in the midst of a restoration for a few years, I had settled on not having a full camping interior once finished.
Was leaning toward a full width rock and roll bed and a few power points only.
Found some old Caravelle seats on ebay:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233936528222 ... SwAWhgVddj.
They look like they fold forward though, and not slide out and fold back in the manner you would expect they would if the cushion was to form the bed as they do in other campers.
Anyone out there put me straight please?
Any pics of your full width rear seats functioning as a bed?

Re: Caravelle seat mechanism help
The standard caravelle seat doesn’t convert into a bed , you need a caravelle bed , pretty rare and fairly expensive
Re: Caravelle seat mechanism help
Hmmm. Cheers David. might have to rethink this

If you are not going for full camper set up then a multivan conversion is ideal, almost full width rock and roll bed, fold out no leg table and curtains, you would have to make up the side trim panels if its for right hand drive though.

Yep, RHD van.
I may look at seeing if I can acquire that interior perhaps. I think I have seen the table you mention too.
I think it was recessed into the side panel, and folded up and out.
I've gone too far to stop now

Re: Caravelle seat mechanism help
Dont get the whole interior from a left hand drive, just the bed and table and maybe pop on curtains. The big plastic trim panels wont fit right hand drive, just make your own trim panels for right hand drive. There are 2 types of beds, early bolt to the floor plywood based or later metal beds fixed to the factory bolt locations, the early type would be easier for you.
