Early Holdsworth pop top

Post by mike the van »

At long last biting the bullet and going for a major refurb of the van, the pop top needs to come off for gutter repairs, any advice on where or how it is attached, I can see a load of sikaflex and pop rivets, are there any not so obvious fixings?

Cheers Mike

Hi Mike if you remove the roof lining from inside your van there is a wooden frame. There are a lot of screws holding the pop top you might have to remove the top lop locker as well.if you are replacing all of the gutters I would cut them off be careful and watch the pop top because it’s a pain in the ass getting it out of the gutters. Hope that helps you cheers graham
