I have an unused spare lm willing to sale. But lve not got the suppliers' bag anymore. And cant recall the source. So cant vouch for quality.

Are the leaks between the rubber seal and bodywork due to rust or elsewhere, there are products such as leak seal or another more effective one which has been mentioned on this forum, but i can't find the brand att.

You are thinking of Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure - it isn't suitable for windscreen rubber to body as it works by capillary action and the gap under a windscreen seal is far too large for it to work, especially if there is any rust present at all.

I have the problems that are mentioned in other posts.

Rusting dashboard, blisters on bottom corners and water under mats. :(

The windscreen seal looks like it's the original.
So rather than remove and refit have decided to renew completely
:D
Thanks all for your posts

Just realised need to buy paint
Where can I get it and how to identify my colour code :?:

Just another thought, are you removing the dash for some other reason, if not whilst the glass is out it maybe worth loosening and renewing the screws that secure it near the windscreen, they often corrode and are a pig to get out with the glass in place, two of mine are stuck solid and despite advice on this forum still refuse to come undone.

Good advice. On my first dash removal (out of three in 15 year) l accidentally slipped the screwdriver and cracked windscreen.

Back to your post SurfT25 ...if the seal is original there is no way reusing is going to work anyway. It will stretch beyond use once pulled out. Besides rust will likely come away with it too. It will never seal properly again. Buying new is best bet.

To remove the glass cut across the rubber on the outside and peel off the outer strip all the way around.
