Fuel filler neck screws
Try as I might I cannot remove the three screws that hold the surround to the metal ring. I have tried soaking them in plusgas for several days with no joy. Obviously grinding the heads off is not really an option. Any suggestions?

Think I drilled the heads out when I did mine. I was removing tank and renewing all rubbers etc so wasn’t too concerned about swarf.

That may be the only way to do it. Thanks.

I used an impact driver (hammer type), but there's a bit of flex in the panel do it's not a perfect 'dead hit'. Sounds like drilling is your option, rag down the hole

Undo them from behind with vice grips etc
Re: Fuel filler neck screws
I did consider doing that, but reaching the top one will prove difficult I think.

Re: Fuel filler neck screws
I bought a set of grabits to remove some very stubborn screws on my scooter. They came out in seconds after an hour of faffing about beforehand.

Not sure one of those bits will be small enough for the job David.
