Removing Louvre window

I want to replace the seal on my autosleeper louvre window, any tips and tricks on how to remove the louvre window

Hi,
Long time ago when I removed mine. I actually replaced with a fixed pane of glass but as far as I remember the frame to the louvres sits in the rubber seal the same as the glass.
1987/8 Autosleeper, 1.9dg (Automatic) hightop. Petrol/ LPG

Thanks for the reply, can you remember if the frame has any padding or rubber U channel to take it to the size of glass thickness ?

Hi,
Cannot remember what I had for breakfast let alone a few years back.
The seals can be purchased with different width channels so you can buy to suit but either way I would/ do add some sealant into the channel.

Yes, there is a small U shaped extra seal for the louvered window surround to fit snugly in the rubber seal. The rubber seal itself is the same as the other windows.

Removal/refitting process is the same as normal but take the glass louvres out of the window first!
