At some time I need to remove the dashboard if I want to repair the heater blower, two screws near the windscreen refuse to move even with a lot of plus gas and other re-lease fluids being applied, I can get a fairly good purchase with a screw driver but no movement, the windscreen does restrict it a bit.  Not going to remove windscreen but wish when it was last replaced I gave the screws a go then, however the blower was working then so did not occur to me.  Any other ideas would be welcome, not in a rush as can live with blower not operating as windscreen remains clear at all time and in all weathers.

I found using a screwdriver with a long spanner on the end of it worked. I took the dash screws out of my syncro today, they were rusted in good. But with some pressure on the screwdriver and working the spanner to and fro got them moving.

Thanks, will try that, tried something similar but difficult to get the downward pressure whilst rotating to keep the driver in place.

Impact driver with a very long bit and a 7lb hammer worked for me. Used carefully it can be done.

All I did was put the palm of one hand on the end of the Screwdriver and leaned against it ( takes a bit of maneuvering in the cab ) then just rocked the screwdriver back and forth, once it gives you should be just able to use the screwdriver to shift em.

Make sure the screwdriver is a snug fit as well.

This is what I did. The impact drivers you hit with a hammer, not the electric power tool. Bosh bosh
