Hi all,

I’ve got some rust on my cab floor I’m trying to sort out, I’m guessing it was caused by the leaking window seal which I’ve now replaced. I’ve taken it back to bare metal on one side and I was just wondering if it’s ok to fibreglass the holes with P40 or should I take it to the garage to get welded? The van just passed the MOT last month so I’m wondering if this should have been an MOT fail? Thanks for looking.

That needs welding , it would only have been an mot failure if it was visible, which it obviously wasn’t

Thanks for your advice, someone’s coming out to morrow to give me a quote to fix it.

Just wondering how you got on with the rust issue?
