Additional lap belts

Post by Extractone »

Hi all,

recently purchased a 1981 T25 .

it has 1 lap belt in the back and I would like to add a 2nd. Mechanically I can do it but from a safety point will it be ok?

reading online some say you shouldn't  do it as it won't be designed correctly for the weight of the vehicle in the event of a collision.

advice greatly received.

thanks

It was designed to have 3 belts across the back seat so no problem

Hi all,

My caravelle high top has 1 3point and 1 lap. Im thinking of putting another 3 point in but it only has a 3/4 bed. Is this possible to have 2 3 points and a lap top too?

Advice greatly appreciated

Good luck with your seat belt Extractone
