Water in cavity

Post by SurfT25 »

Hi and thanks in advance for your reply.
My bus is a caravelle hightop with cut back on end with struts and luggage bar. The top windows are fixed plastic ones. Which I have resealed to try and stop the access of water.
When bought bus the sky light was leaking badly saw damp in cavity and managed to buy new skylight and replace it.
Bought a cover soon after as there were a couple of areas where water was appearing .
Today it struck me that the hightop is sitting outside on the rim of the bus so water shouldn't be getting in to the cavity anyway .ImageImageImageImage
Is this a sign of a rusting rim and roof has to come off to tackle it.
Thanks again
Peter
