Paint for suspension mounts etc

Post by jas915 »

Hi what paint should I use on parts like wishbone mounts etc. Just thinking ahead to when I renew bushes. Will then clean up the mounting points and want to give them a lick of paint.

I use chassis black. A tough polyurethane paint with Zinc Phosphate for anti corrosion protection.

Do you just apply that as us or thinned down? Do you need a primer first?

It is self-priming, as is for brushing only needs to be thinned if you spray it.
