South African Rear Louvre Panel

Post by 300CE »

Howdo All, i hope we're all safe and well and getting through this craziness without going to mad.

Bought this louvre rear panel from a chap on eBay which was fitted to his SA Bus - never seen one before and it has a patent number on the back so could be a one off - anyone seen one before?! Prepped and painted it and needed a bit of fabrication to make it fit. Still requires a bit more work but it'll do for the moment:

I've not seen one before.

Only my opinion - not know for my style either - but you have a lovely looking bus and that does nothing to compliment it.

That’s a fair comment Jim & I’d say it’s deffo one of those Marmite items! I like it as it’s just a bit different to the norm and must say I’m a fan of the 80’s Louvre look!

I didn't want to upset you, but I wouldn't put it on my van. But hey if you like it that's all that matters. :-)
