Land Rover Mirror Screws

Post by mshaw1980 »

Hi all

Got some slight paint rash on my rear wheel arch after reverse parking using the atrocious t25 mirrors where you cant see anything so have decided on land rover mirrors. I quite fancy warming up the mig welder to make my own brackets as I have not used it since restoring my van. So just need to know what size and pitch countersink screws I need to get to screw the land rover mirrors to the bracket?

Cheers all :ok

That's it blame your mirrors for your carp reversing.:-)

:D

Am normally quite good. 21 years no claims at present :-)
I rely lots on my mirrors for reverse parking but t25 mirrors are rubbish.

That’s what I ordered for mine...... for some strange reason the landy mirrors I picked up appeared to be metric!!!

My cheapo landy mirrors are near end of life after two years

Might buy a pair of genuine arms and fit the cheapo heads as the cheap arms are close to needing powdercoating already

Genuine mirrors might be metric now

Mmm mine too, though probably 4 years. Just continuing in the trend of paint dissapearing from the van!

Always been wobbly too. Just got used to it. If you do anything successful about it, do report. The mirrors themselves are fine, just the arms (wobble and peel)
