Repair Trailing arm possible?

Post by dooglex »

So typical, both trailing arms have got quite a bit of rust on the outside bushing area.

I presume there are not supposed to be holes on the inside. Any recommendations on repairing these? I'm a self taught welder, OK on bodywork and basic joins but Is a repair even possible? Or should I get it done, or just face up to 600quid for two new arms!

Repairing the mounting side of the arms is not really a DIY thing. Its really hard to do it well if even possible.
So beside the new, good used ones are the solution
