Front arch

Post by Gordo89 »

I have rusty bits

The front arches are in pretty good shape however after removing the underseal there is rust located between the arch and the b pillar

The one side needs some cleaning up from the swage line down but the other arch is ok.

My thoughts are to remove the arch clean up the mating faces and re weld into position. While removed also repair the b pillar.

How easy does the arch come out without damage?

You won’t be able to pull the arch off cleanly, the fronts quite tricky, best bet is to take part of the arch off and fit it back again , there are a few spot welds across the top , some in the lip where your arrow is and some across the step into the door opening
