circlip for tailgate gas struts

Post by mariner »

Hi all. Anyone know what size the circlips are that secure the gas struts to the tailgate? One of mine snapped in half whilst changing the struts and I'm not sure how they are measured. Cheers.

Great, thanks David. For some reason I hadn't imagined it was something VW Heritage etc would have done so didn't look  I'd also measured it at 6mm using a tape measure so a real help. Cheers.

Not much you can't but for these vans, I think Brickwerks sell them too along with loads of parts you never thought they would like nuts and bolts the right size and pitch.
